Orphaned children

National Insurance is concerned about children who have lost one of their parents or both, and gives them monthly allowances according to the circumstances of the parent's death. Furthermore, the NII pays, in addition to the allowance, a maintenance benefit to children who are learning in high school.

To orphans aged from 6 to 18, the NII pays a study grant, once a year at the beginning of school year.

Orphaned boys and girls aged 13 and 12, respectively, receive a one-time grant from the NII.
